Burna Boy, Asake, Rema, & Tyla Receive Coveted BRIT Award Nominations
African music artists are making their mark at the prestigious BRIT Awards 2024, with several top talents nominated in major categories. Burna Boy and Asake are contending for the International Artist of the Year award, competing with global music icons such as Taylor Swift, Kylie Minogue, SZA, and Lana Del Rey.
Rema has earned a nomination in the International Song of the Year category for his hit “Calm Down,” while South African sensation Tyla is also nominated in the same category for her viral track “Water.” Adding to the list of African nominees, Cameroon-American artist Libianca has been recognized for her breakout song “People.”
